How we use theatre

Techniques from the rehearsal room

People learn leadership the way actors learn a part: by doing it, seeing it from the other side, and doing it again.

Mirror exercise

Pairs lead and follow each other’s movements, revealing in minutes how controlling or trusting each person is.

Forum theatre

A micromanaging scene the whole group recognises is replayed until the manager finds a better way.

Status play

Shows how a manager’s status behaviours can unintentionally shut down initiative.

When to choose it

Pulse survey signals this training addresses

If your employee survey scores are low on statements like these, this is a good place to start.

“My manager trusts me to make decisions”“I have the freedom to do my job well”
